It's always great to have a reference, but sometimes finding someone on a website really does pay off.
I found Scott Davis, Empowered Creations, on the web and thought his work was impressive. I was looking for someone to do a logo for us to inset into a table. He offered to do one for us free of charge even though I told him we did not have the ability to pay for that and did not know if it would be approved or not regardless. I was just looking for pricing. As it turned out the funding ended up not going through, however, the work was absolutely fabulous.
I was impressed by his attention to details and knowledge of the product.
I am just looking for an opportunity to come up in my life that allows me to use him.
